Tailored Support
Define the quality or compliance work that falls outside the standard routes
Tailored Support provides a defined route for practical food-quality or compliance assignments beyond the standard products and named services, with an agreed outcome, evidence base, deliverables and completion point.

Best fit
When Tailored Support is useful
Tailored Support is the route for defined food-quality, food-safety or compliance work beyond the standard products or named services.
It may be suitable when:
- the required output falls outside the boundary of a standard Check, Assessment or Review;
- a specific document, process or compliance issue requires a defined piece of work;
- agreed implementation or follow-up support is needed after an assessment, review or audit;
- the work has a clear outcome but needs to be delivered in phases or through an agreed cadence;
- several stakeholders or evidence sources are involved around one clearly defined outcome.
QSP first checks whether a standard product or named service provides the most efficient route.
Agreed scope
What QSP can support
The exact work is defined in the proposal. A Tailored Support assignment must establish:
- the specific problem or decision to be addressed;
- the intended outcome;
- the relevant evidence and information available;
- the stakeholders and client dependencies;
- the agreed activities and deliverables;
- the working format and cadence;
- the scope boundaries, assumptions and exclusions;
- the completion criteria.
Depending on the defined need, the assignment may use a fixed-scope, hourly, phased or project-based format, all centred on the agreed food-quality or compliance objective.
The process
How QSP works
- 01
Start Assessment
Describe the problem, intended outcome, relevant product or supplier context, available evidence, stakeholders, constraints and desired timing.
QSP checks the standard routes first and uses your high-level document summary to define the most suitable assignment.
- 02
Receive a defined proposal
If Tailored Support is appropriate, QSP specifies the agreed outcome, activities, inputs, deliverables, format, cadence, timing, boundaries and completion criteria. Work starts after the proposal is accepted.
- 03
Complete the agreed assignment
QSP performs the defined work and keeps evidence gaps, client dependencies and scope changes visible. Any material change is discussed and agreed before the work continues.
- 04
Receive the agreed output
QSP delivers the output named in the proposal and records any limitations, remaining actions or recommended next route.
Agreed output
What the client receives
Tailored Support has no universal report or standard deliverable. Depending on the accepted assignment, the client may receive:
- written findings or a defined evidence review;
- a corrected or revised document where supported evidence and agreed scope allow;
- practical action priorities or a workplan;
- a defined implementation or follow-up output;
- phased project support and agreed progress records;
- a final summary of completed work, open points and next steps.
The accepted proposal names the outputs, and the final result keeps unresolved information clearly visible.

Pricing and proposal
The proposal reflects the defined outcome and delivery model. Tailored Support may be agreed as:
- a fixed-scope assignment;
- hourly support;
- a phased assignment;
- a project-based engagement.
Price and timing depend on the accepted activities, evidence set, deliverables, stakeholders, cadence, dependencies and completion criteria. No public hourly rate, standard project fee or universal turnaround is stated on the website.
Choosing the right route
Relationship to other QSP products
Use a standard product when
The case fits Label Check, Product Check, Product Assessment, Product Review, Supplier Check, Supplier Assessment or Supplier Review. A non-standard working preference alone is not a reason to bypass the defined scope and pricing of those products.
Use Supplier Audits when
The assignment requires remote or onsite verification of supplier implementation or practice.
Use Market Access Support when
The central need is a connected market-readiness project involving product, process, supplier and evidence requirements for an intended market.
Use Tailored Support when
The food-quality or compliance problem and output are clear, but the work genuinely falls outside the standard product and service structures.
Practical questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether Tailored Support is the right route?
Start Assessment. If QSP first needs to determine the correct scope, the free exploratory scope review is used within this process. QSP first checks whether an existing product or named service fits. Tailored Support is used only when the problem and required output fall outside those routes.
Can Tailored Support be provided by the hour?
Yes, where hourly support is appropriate to a clearly defined objective and boundaries. The proposal states the working format, expectations and completion basis.
Can several tasks be combined in one assignment?
Only when they support one coherent, defined outcome. A multi-workstream market-readiness case belongs in Market Access Support, while unrelated or expanding requests require separate or revised scope.
What should I provide for the intake?
Describe the problem, intended outcome, context, relevant evidence, stakeholders, constraints and desired timing. Provide a high-level document overview where available; detailed work begins only after scope acceptance.
What happens during the free intake?
QSP reviews the high-level information digitally and by email, with optional phone follow-up where useful, then recommends the right route and defines the scope for a proposal.
What happens if the assignment changes?
QSP records material changes in objective, activities, evidence, deliverables or timing and confirms revised scope before additional work proceeds.
Ready to define the scope?
Discuss a defined assignment outside the standard QSP routes
Send the problem, intended outcome, context, available evidence, stakeholders and constraints. QSP will first check the standard routes and, where Tailored Support is appropriate, prepare a defined proposal.
