Best fit
When Product Review is the right level
Product Review is intended for a product where the compliance question cannot be separated from the wider dossier.
It is suitable when several evidence sources must be connected, inconsistencies must be traced across documents or the client needs a comprehensive written basis for its own product evaluation.
The review remains limited to the full dossier and review areas agreed during the intake. “Full dossier” does not mean unlimited or undefined work.
Scope and input
One product. One market. One accepted connected dossier.
What QSP reviews
QSP reviews the agreed dossier against the stated assessment basis for one target market. Relevant areas may include:
- product identity, category and intended use;
- composition, ingredients, allergens and additives;
- label and consumer information;
- nutrition information and claims;
- analyses and stated product criteria;
- process information and operating assumptions relevant to the product;
- storage conditions and shelf-life support;
- packaging and food-contact information;
- consistency across documents, versions and declared facts;
- the strength and limitations of the evidence supporting the product information.
The accepted scope determines which areas apply. QSP lists only evidence actually reviewed and records where a point remains unsubstantiated, inconsistent, not verified or outside scope.
What you provide
Please provide:
- an overview of the complete current product dossier;
- the current label or artwork;
- the intended target market;
- the product’s intended use and the decision the Review should support;
- the current versions and dates of the relevant evidence;
- known questions, inconsistencies or information gaps that should be included in the scope;
- editable material where practical corrections may be appropriate.
Depending on the agreed scope, the dossier may include specifications, ingredient or raw-material information, analyses, process descriptions, shelf-life evidence, packaging specifications, food-contact documentation and other relevant sources. QSP confirms the accepted dossier before work begins.
Evidence-based method
How deep the Review goes
Product Review considers the dossier as one connected body of evidence rather than a set of isolated documents.
QSP can trace a declared fact across the supplied sources, examine how documents support or contradict one another and determine which conclusions remain limited by missing or insufficient evidence. The Review can investigate an inconsistency within the accepted dossier. It does not invent missing facts, create evidence that does not exist or automatically obtain information from third parties.
What you receive
You receive a comprehensive written Product Review containing:
- the accepted purpose, scope and assessment basis;
- product identification and a register of the documents reviewed;
- structured findings linked to the relevant evidence and sources;
- treatment of cross-document consistency;
- evidence strength, information gaps and unresolved contradictions;
- requirements and sources used where applicable;
- recorded limitations and matters outside scope;
- practical priorities and next steps for the client’s own product decision.
Where a correction is supported by the accepted scope and evidence, QSP may process it into supplied editable material. This does not include inventing missing product information, rebuilding final artwork or providing a release decision.

Fixed price
Price and scope
€379excl. VAT
The base price covers one product, one target market and the full product dossier accepted during the intake.
The fixed price does not create an unlimited document or complexity allowance. If the dossier cannot reasonably fit the standard Product Review scope, QSP confirms the appropriate scope before any work begins.
Next level
When the work moves beyond Product Review
Product Review is the highest fixed product level. Broader support is required when QSP must coordinate market-entry readiness, actively obtain or develop missing evidence, manage extensive third-party follow-up, support implementation across workstreams or perform direct verification.
These activities move into Market Access Support, Tailored Support or another separately agreed service. They are not silently added to the Product Review.
Practical questions
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Product Assessment and Product Review?
Product Assessment covers one label, up to three supporting documents and selected assessment areas. Product Review covers the full dossier accepted during the intake and examines the connections, inconsistencies and evidence strength across that wider set.
What counts as a full product dossier?
That depends on the product and intended decision. During the intake, QSP identifies the current evidence set and confirms which documents and review areas form the accepted dossier. The term does not imply unlimited documents or undefined work.
Will QSP resolve every information gap?
No. QSP can investigate a gap within the accepted dossier, identify conflicting or missing evidence and explain the resulting limitation. QSP does not invent facts or automatically collect evidence from suppliers, laboratories or other third parties.
Can corrections be processed into my documents?
Yes, where the accepted scope, evidence and editable format support the correction. Extensive rewriting, evidence creation and final artwork approval remain outside the standard Product Review.
How long does Product Review take?
Timing is confirmed after QSP has accepted the dossier and complete required input. The 24-hour Check turnaround does not apply.
Ready to begin?
Review the dossier before relying on it
Send an overview of the current dossier, the intended target market and the decision the Review should support. QSP will confirm the accepted dossier and scope before the assignment starts.
