Market Access Support

Turn connected market-readiness requirements into a practical route forward

Preparing a food product for the European market often involves more than one compliance question. Product information, production controls, supplier documentation and supporting evidence must fit together. QSP helps identify the gaps, dependencies and practical work needed to move the case forward.

Best fit

When Market Access Support is useful

Market Access Support is appropriate when a market-entry or compliance case contains several connected workstreams that need to be coordinated.

This may be the case when you need to:

  • prepare a food product for the European market;
  • align product information, labelling, process controls, supplier evidence and supporting documentation;
  • identify missing evidence before the product can progress;
  • determine which testing, validation or documentation is needed;
  • resolve dependencies between product, supplier and process requirements;
  • organise practical follow-up across several readiness questions or phases.

The work focuses on food-quality, food-safety and compliance readiness for the agreed target market.

Agreed scope

What QSP can support

The assignment can cover one or more of four connected areas. The proposal identifies which workstreams are included and how they relate to each other.

1. Product readiness

Support with product composition, specifications, intended use, labelling information, packaging and the product evidence needed for the intended market.

2. Process readiness

Support with process descriptions, critical steps, operating procedures, validation needs and evidence that relevant production controls are defined and supported.

3. Supplier readiness

Support with supplier documentation, certificates, questionnaires, corrective actions and preparation for relevant customer requirements, documentary assessment or audit.

4. Compliance roadmap

Identification of applicable requirements, missing evidence, unresolved decisions, testing or documentation needs, dependencies and the practical sequence of work needed to progress the case.

Market Access Support connects the selected workstreams. The proposal names each included activity and any separate testing, assessment or audit route.

The process

How QSP works

  1. 01

    Start Assessment

    Provide the target market, your role in the supply chain, the product and intended use, the current situation, available documentation and the main decision or problem to be resolved.

    A high-level document summary helps QSP identify the relevant workstreams and prepare a realistic scope.

  2. 02

    Receive a defined scope and proposal

    QSP identifies the relevant readiness workstreams, dependencies, required input, intended outputs, project format, assumptions, boundaries and timing. These are set out in a proposal for acceptance.

  3. 03

    Complete the agreed work

    After acceptance, QSP reviews the agreed evidence, works through the selected readiness areas and keeps missing information, unresolved decisions and client dependencies visible. Additional work is added only through an agreed change in scope.

  4. 04

    Receive the outputs and next-step route

    QSP delivers the outputs named in the proposal and identifies the practical next steps. Where a separate test, fixed product, supplier review or audit is needed, this is shown as a distinct requirement rather than silently included.

Agreed output

What the client receives

Outputs depend on the accepted workstreams and can include:

  • a structured overview of current readiness and material gaps;
  • a list of missing evidence, testing, validation or documentation needs;
  • a readiness matrix or compliance roadmap;
  • a prioritised workplan showing dependencies and practical next steps;
  • written findings and recommendations within the agreed scope;
  • revised or corrected documents where this is expressly included and supported by the available evidence;
  • coordination or project support for agreed follow-up activities;
  • recommendations for a Product Review, supplier documentary review or Supplier Audit where a separate route is required.

The proposal states the exact deliverables and the roadmap shows how any connected actions fit together.

On request

Pricing and proposal

QSP provides a proposal based on the actual market-readiness case. Relevant scope drivers include:

  • the target market and the client’s supply-chain role;
  • the number and connection of product, process, supplier and evidence workstreams;
  • the condition and completeness of the available documentation;
  • unresolved dependencies and information gaps;
  • the required outputs and project format;
  • any agreed phases, testing coordination, supplier work, assessment or audit activity.

The engagement may be fixed-scope, phased or otherwise project-based as agreed. No standard price or universal turnaround is stated on the website.

Choosing the right route

Relationship to other QSP products

Product Review

Product Review is a defined review of one agreed product dossier for one target market. Use it when the main need is to assess that dossier, rather than coordinate several connected readiness workstreams.

Supplier Check, Supplier Assessment and Supplier Review

These are defined documentary products for supplier evidence. Market Access Support can identify and coordinate the appropriate route.

Supplier Audits

Supplier Audits verify implementation and practice through remote or onsite audit activity. They remain separately scoped when direct verification is required.

Tailored Support

Tailored Support is for a clearly defined food-quality or compliance assignment outside the standard products and named services. Market Access Support remains the correct route when the central purpose is to coordinate product, process, supplier and evidence readiness for an intended market.

Practical questions

Frequently asked questions

Is Market Access Support the same as Product Review?

No. Product Review assesses one agreed product dossier for one target market. Market Access Support is for a broader case in which product, process, supplier and evidence-readiness requirements must be coordinated.

Must the complete dossier already be available?

No. Identifying missing evidence can be part of the agreed work. You should still provide a clear overview of the product, target market, current documentation and known gaps so QSP can define a realistic scope.

Are laboratory tests, assessments and audits included?

Not automatically. QSP can identify the need for testing or a separate assessment or audit, and can include agreed coordination or connected work in the proposal. External testing and distinct QSP products or services remain separately identified.

Will QSP correct documents as part of the project?

Only where document work is named in the accepted scope and the correction is supported by available evidence. QSP records missing facts instead of inventing them.

How long does the work take?

Timing depends on the agreed workstreams, dossier condition, missing information, client or supplier dependencies and any external testing or verification. QSP confirms the project timing in the proposal.
